Kabasph®SCA-9156X is a poly-urea modified acrylic resin with fine needle-like poly-urea crystals that form hydrogen bonds, providing strong thixotropy and anti-sagging performance. For automotive OEM acrylic-amino top clearcoats, its network prevents vertical sagging at rest, breaks down under shear for flow/leveling, then reforms. Amine value ≤8 mgKOH/g, fineness ≤15 μm, recommended dosage 10–15% on total formulation—suitable for high-quality automotive coatings.

l High efficiency: As part of the Kabasph® high-efficiency SCA resin range, it offers high SCA active content. Recommended dosage can be only about 50–70% of conventional SCA resins on the market, which typically have an active content of 2–3%, helping reduce customers’ operating costs.
l Compared with conventional anti-sagging agents such as silicates, waxes, and organic clays, SCA resins provide rheology control without sacrificing gloss, transparency, or film properties.
