However, formulating with acrylate polyurethane systems presents unique challenges: pigment dispersion stability, settling and floating, insufficient substrate wetting, surface defects such as orange peel, craters, and pinholes, as well as air entrapment and foam generation that compromise final coating quality.

The KBS-F8500 dispersant provides excellent viscosity reduction and stability, especially for organic pigment dispersion, while KBS-F8600 is a 100% solid acid polyester compound with strong wetting and viscosity reduction for inorganic pigment fillers and stable colour mixing. The KBS-C410K anti-settling thixotropic agent provides excellent anti-sagging and anti-floating performance with minimal impact on transparency, viscosity, gloss, storage stability, and curing activity. KBS-L358NK offers good compatibility and is very suitable for overprint varnish to improve long-wave levelling, comparable to BYK-358N. KBS-X052K is a non-silicone polyacrylate defoamer that is not easy to cause shrinkage, comparable to BYK-052.
